All automations in the property are standard off the shelf products like Ring, Tuya, eWelink etc. The applications for these products are on the Tablet that is supplied with the property, or on your Smartphone.
The entire home would normally be controlled on individual Apps and possibly a Voice assistant like Alexa or Google Home or Siri.

HA is simply a hub that communicates with all your Smart Home toys & gadgets and keeps them all in one easy to use dashboard. This means you will only need one dashboard to control your entire Home Automation. This is all done on Local WiFi and does not need an Internet connection to function. Home Assistant keeps your data local, no need for a cloud account.
You can securely access your Smart Home from your Phone or Desktop remotely, using the internet connection present in the property.
Home Assistant communicates with your devices locally, and will only fall back to pulling in data from the cloud if there is no other option.
All systems are conventionally represented, enabling you to live in the property without needing to use the tech at all.
