Fully insulated solid wood floor
The Solid Wood Flooring is constructed from a single piece of wood, 22 mm thick, and is valued for its durability, timeless aesthetic, and natural beauty. The floor “Floats” on a sound-proof insulation bed, consisting of; a wood sub-frame laid on top of a cork sheet. The cavities in the frame is filled with KNAUF insulation material to ensure perfect temperature insulation as well as sound-proofing.
While solid hardwood is more expensive upfront than engineered or laminate flooring, its longevity and refinish-ability makes it a cost-effective choice over time. The entire floor has been finished with a protective finish using Polyurethane for enhanced scratch resistance and luster.
